We’d like to thank the artists who submitted their stuff this year. All of the videos we received were fantastic, and choosing among them was very difficult.

To all of the amazing artists who submitted this year, we’re excited to welcome you to the BMVAs 2016 (whether you received a nomination this time around or not) as our honored guests.

Drama, creativity, and some amazing cinematography: an impressive mix of up-and-coming and well-known film-and-music-makers we love! There are a lot of unexpected surprises from these talented directors…. and some award-winning acting. Check it out!

This group of BMVA 2016 nominees will knock your socks off. There’s not only a wide range of talent, there’s an expanse of incredible sounds spanning country and genre: breaking sound barriers and international borders. From American artist ZEBRA KATZ’s LGBT-supporting hip hop, who officially blew up at a Rick Owens show during Paris Fashion Week, to Major Lazer’s tasty electronic music cocktail of EDM, reggae, dancehall, house, and more, to Jean-Michel Jarre’s pioneering compilations of electronic, ambient, and new-age, and Poland’s gift to the electronic music scene Catz n Dogz… all of these exceptional artists are as different as they are inspirational, and bring an amazing amount of experience to the table.
